The NearMap solution has been designed to fully automate the process of creating very high definition PhotoMaps of entire continents.  The complete chain of technologies includes:

• NearMap's HyperPod camera system is designed to capture PhotoMap data at a small fraction of the operating and capital costs for alternative camera systems - and captures overhead and four oblique photos while doing so. U.S. patent pending.
  
   
• The HyperPod generates about 1Gigabyte of raw image data every second.  To process the individual photos into seamless photomaps, NearMap's HyperVision PhotoMap processing solution runs on super-computer clusters of hardware and can produce a complete city-wide PhotoMap within a few days (compared to several months with alternative solutions).
  
   
• The final technology innovation is the HyperWeb solution, which simultaneously serves the many terabytes of PhotoMaps to online consumers.
